Comments: How to Communicate with Editors During Project Work

You can add comments to projects which are in negotiation or waiting for acceptance or which have been accepted and are in progress. Submitted comments will be sent in a notification email to the editor.

The Comment Rail also records and displays key events of a project, such as submissions and acceptance. 

  1. Click the Message icon to right of the Detail Rail. This will expand and collapse the Comment Rail.
  2. Click the field that says "Add comment". This will expand the box where you then type your comment. Press Enter key to save your comment.
  3. Click the Edit icon to change or delete your comment. If you're changing the text, click "Save" button or press the Enter key when done.
